Website Launched at WindEnergy2018

Houlder has launched a new Offshore Wind specific website to mark its presence at WindEnergy2018, Hamburg. The site – www.houlderoffshorewind.com –  has been designed to highlight the company’s installation equipment, vessel design, engineering and through life support capabilities. These have combined to develop award winning pile and jacket handling equipment, subsea floating accommodation and turbine installation vessels. The need for innovation will, of course, increase as wind farms move further offshore and in to deeper water.

Visitors to WindEnergy2018 can meet Houlder’s Marine Equipment team in Hall B2 on Stand 200. They will share Houlder’s expertise in wind farm installation and construction, in particular, from vessel design, engineering and operational management to specialist equipment and pile handling solutions. Houlder works with utility companies, vessel owners, operators and contractors to ensure safe and cost-effective project delivery. Our design teams combine creativity, pragmatism and discipline to develop new concepts, support decision making and validate safety, performance and feasibility. Houlder’s blend of skills and experience have a proven track record of success on various contracts including the Walney Farm extension, Horns Rev 3, Rampion and Aberdeen Bay Offshore Wind Farms.

As well as supply equipment, Houlder also supplies the following advisory and consultancy services to developers and other partiesAssessment of vessel Options (e.g. for FEED or tender selection)
