East of England Energy Group SNS2017

Houlder is delighted to be exhibiting at the East of England Energy Group SNS2017 event March 1st & 2nd. SNS2017, The Southern North Sea Conference, Exhibition & Dinner is EEEGR’s flagship North Sea event and an important date in the energy sector’s diary. SNS2017 will be the largest conference and exhibition EEEGR has ever delivered attracting upwards of 700 delegates from across the industry and supply chain. Key industry players will gather at this event to discuss and debate issues, network to make new business contacts and re-establish relationships with existing clients.
Members of the Houlder team will be on hand on Stand A13 to discuss the company’s offshore wind equipment and services. In particular, the company can discuss the lessons it learned through supplying the Rampion Offshore Wind Farm construction project with pile handling equipment (below). Elsewhere, the company is also helping Siemens Windpower with engineering, analysis and design for Galloper and Walney Farm projects.
James A. Russell, Houlder’s Marine Equipment Director commented on the event “SNS2017 is a fantastic opportunity to learn about offshore energy requirements direct from contractors and energy companies. Our involvement in offshore wind to date has proved the closer we are to the end users, the more we understand the complex supply chain, construction and installation challenges it involves. This knowledge feeds straight into our engineering and equipment.”
East of England Energy Group is the industry and skills association for energy producers and their Supply Chain in the East of England, representing over 300 members across the sector. The organisations’ mission is to be the source of new opportunities and knowledge to enable member companies to strategically grow their businesses.
