Houlder engineers are experienced in the detailed analysis of marine structures and systems both for existing hardware and for new designs.

In recent years, Houlder has provided analysis services to support clients in design, fabrication and remedial works. This has included structural analysis using finite elements or beam/framework models, hydrodynamic modelling and detailed stability investigations. State-of-the-art software packages are used by experienced engineers taking care to cross check and verify all works at each stage of the process.

All Houlder designs are analysed in accordance with relevant codes, rules and standards as part of the design verification process.
