Marine services

Ro-Ro Newbuild - Houlder provided technical support, shipyard supervision and contract negotiation services to AWSR to support its contract with the UK Ministry of Defence. The final newbuilding is currently taking place and is due to go into service in June 2003.

Houlder provides a number of associated services to shipowners as,

Client Liaison - Advisory service to clients for ship purchase, operation and equipment integration.

Safety Cases - Performance of ship, equipment and system formal safety assessments.

Shipyard Supervision - Provision of steelwork and equipment installation supervisors at work sites.

Vessel Survey - Survey of ships and their systems to ascertain suitability for modification works.
