RIB & Ammunication Cranes - Houlder has supplied a range of electro hydraulic deck cranes to the MoD to handle Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIBs) and ammunition. All cranes are designed in accordance with the relevant codes and standards and manufactured under subcontract to Houlder.

Ice Class Deck Crane - HMS Endurance, the ice class patrol vessel, operates for six months of the year in Antarctic waters. Her new deck crane was designed by Houlder and built from high grade steel to perform in the extreme cold.

Hangar Gantry Cranes - Houlder designed, supplied and tested three sets of gantry cranes for use in the hangars of the Royal Navy CVS class aircraft carriers, HMS Invincible, HMS Illustrious and HMS Ark Royal.
